In September we participated in the annual Society of Wedding Planner's, Whose Table is it Anyway? Tabletop Design Competition for the 2nd year in a row!!
This year we decided to compete in the category- Weddings with a decor budget under $10,000.
Our theme was Nude + Neon! Neon has been all the rage in fashion so we wanted to show Brides how they can incorporate this trend into their wedding day without it being overpowering.
We wanted our design to be classic with a touch of neon and we achieved much more than we expected!
Entire tabletop design using Select Event Rentals for our glassware, china, flatware and chairs. Linens provided by The Total Table- one of our exclusive linen companies. |
Custom DIY "Love" sign we created using a tutorial from Preston Bailey. Every wedding must have some DIY! |
Each place setting was adorned with a favor box in alternating colors, white or tan. We added a unique ribbon design in orange and pink to continue the theme.
We hand dipped spoons into neon paint to add a custom touch to the flatware.
Pink tinted water glasses and silver rimmed wine glasses were added to add classic elements and more color!!
We used an assortment of different shapes and sizes of vases and hand painted the inside with acrylic neon paint. We wrapped votives in jute twine and reused glassware wrapped in twine and neon yarn.
All white flowers were used to create a classic look and allow the neon colors to really shine on the table without being too bright! Arrangements included hydrangea, ranunculus, lisianthus, roses and garden roses which were all created by Something Blu.
On site floral competition from Wegmans- Collegeville. The owner of Something Blu, Lauren Reilly, created a centerpiece using the mystery items in the bag! |
Special thanks to Sarah Rachel Photography for taking these photos !
We had such a great time at The Phoenixville Foundry and can't wait to start brainstorming for next year!! This event is now open to the public!! Stay tuned for next year's event in September 2013!
